Anyone outsourcing IT needs to be well aware that governance of processes and suppliers will suddenly take on much greater importance than when it’s carried out in-house.

On Thursday 22 November, KPN in Houten hosted the second meeting of the Benelux ServiceNow User Group. Approximately 40 participants attended at several presentations and three breakout sessions.

The invitation sent out to ITSM professionals through social media to come and have a no-obligation cup of coffee in Rijswijk resulted in a substantial caffeine intake for Chantal, Sylvia and Rosalie.

On 9 October we organised an informal ITSM-People drinks gathering. Both our own employees and ITSM professionals from the ITSM-People network were invited to the recently opened McLounge at the Rijswijk office.

The 10th edition of the Service Desk Forum will take place on 19 and 20 September at Naturalis Leiden. This year the workshops and debates will focus a great deal of attention on the latest developments such as Bring Your Own Device.

There may be too many days when it’s grey outside, but here in Rijswijk we’re having a great summer. Because despite the gloomy economic news demand for our ITSM services remains strong, even in July and August.

The first ServiceNow Benelux User Group Meeting took place at the office of Logicalis SMC on Thursday 14 June. Around 30 users listened to presentations on the latest developments concerning ServiceNow.

A team of eight trained and fully fit Logicalis SMC professionals put in an epic performance on Thursday 7 June 2012 during the Alpe d’HuZes by jointly climbing Alpe d’Huez no fewer than thirty-three times for a good cause.
